As of now the in-game messenger should support all directx8 games. It is at least known to
work without flaws in LiveForSpeed, UnrealTournament 2004, America Army.Full Sized Screenshot

Using GOIM InGame Messenger
After starting the game the GOIM InGame Messenger should be invisible. You can press
alt+o to open it and view messages. If you want to write a reply to the last message press alt+p which will make
GOIM In-Game Messenger to catch all Keyboard events so that you can't harm your current
game while typing.Currently it is not possible to do anything but answering messages. (ie. not initialiating
a chat.) but there are some commands you can already use without anyone chatting with you:
/version - Prints the Version of GOIM and GOIM InGame Messenger you are currently using
/time - Prints the current time
More will follow soon.If you receive two messages from different people you will always reply to the latest.
If you want to reply to another person you can hit 'tab' to select your chat partner.(Hit tab once to see the current selection, further press tab to switch between people)If you receive a message while GOIM InGame Messenger is invisible it will show up for
20 seconds until it disappaers again. (It won't catch user input so you can continue
playing. Hit alt+p to answer to a message.)
If you don't like the position of the GOIM InGame Messenger window you can move it
by pressing and holding alt + pressing and holding right mouse button while moving the
mouse. (it most likely won't move to the same position as your mouse cursor of the
game.. but it will move relatively.)
